On 10 October 2022, the new legislation on recycled plastics intended to come into contact with food (Regulation (EU) 2022/1616) came into force, repealing Regulation (EC) No 282/2008.

The implications of this Regulation are significant for the plastics industry. This webinar will address the new provisions and substantial changes contained within it. We will analyse this new Regulation and the extent to which it may affect businesses and the current market.

Graduado en Ingeniería Química por la Universidad de Valencia. Máster en Ingeniería Química por la Universidad de Valencia.

Actualmente trabajando como técnico en reciclado mecánico en AIMPLAS en las líneas de investigación de material reciclado en contacto con alimentos y tecnologías de identificación y clasificación de residuos, participando en la presentación de proyectos de I+D+i enfocados a estas líneas tanto a nivel regional como nacional.

Experiencia como docente en curso de reciclado mecánico de plásticos.

Graduate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valencia. Master in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valencia.

Currently working as a technician in mechanical recycling in AIMPLAS in the research lines of recycled material in contact with food and waste identification and classification technologies, participating in the presentation of R+D+i projects focused on these lines both regionally and nationally.

Teaching experience in courses on mechanical recycling of plastics.
