Presentación

The growing pressure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is accelerating the development and deployment of innovative solutions that go beyond traditional mitigation strategies.

Among these, carbon capture and conversion technologies are emerging as key components in the transition toward a low-carbon and circular economy.

This course offers a unique opportunity to explore the full value chain of CO₂ valorization, from the capture of emissions to their transformation into useful products such as fuels, chemicals, or building materials. It combines a solid overview of mature commercial technologies with an in-depth analysis of emerging approaches, including photocatalysis and electrochemical conversion, which are gaining momentum in the scientific and industrial communities.

Participants will also gain insight into the regulatory landscape, including the recently approved Royal Decree 214/2025, which sets new requirements and incentives for CO₂ capture and utilization projects in Spain. Understanding this new legal framework is essential for companies aiming to align their strategies with national and European climate goals.

Whether you are involved in R&D, production, environmental management, or innovation planning, this course will provide you with the technical knowledge and strategic perspective needed to make informed decisions, identify business opportunities, and contribute to the decarbonization of your sector
